Animal Quarantine Department (AQD) is regulating import/export of animals and animal products through health certification and quarantine as per provisions of Pakistan Animal Quarantine Ordinance, 1979 and Rules, 1980. (Reference: Rules of Business, 1973)

• Registration of export oriented establishments for animals and animal products
• Risk assessment for importation of animal and animal products in the light of national laws and international obligations
